Supercar Faceoff!!!

Heres a tough one...

Order the following cars from best to worst (in ur opinion), with ur favourite car on the top of the list...base ur opinion on top speed, 1/4 mile, 0-60, looks, handling, and mayb if u've actaully driven one...the feel of the car...so heres the list: (order them accordingly)

Since when is a viper a super car? A viper is just an expensive muscle car. I'm pretty sure they handle poorly in comparison to the exotics.

Good looking car w/power and good handling...but I dont know if they are reliable due to the Ford engine...but who buys exotics for reliability?

Mclaren F1 LM:

Amazing car...definitely...top 5...(#4)

Wouldnt take it since there is a LM in the choices

Jaguar XJ220:

Really fast car and w/the AWD very nice...(IIRC)...but not top 5 material...real cool still though

Mercedes CLK GTR:

Naughty car...definitely in the top 5...under the Mclaren LM (#5)

Mercedes Benz SLR Mclaren:

Never...ugly car...I'd rather take the Batmobile...(Batman 1)

Ferrari F50:

Very nice car...not as good as the F40 in my mind...but still very nice...top 3 (#2)

Ferrari Enzo

It maybe the fastest Ferrari...but it's not my favorite...and it loses out in my book to the F40, F355, 575M, F50...it's ugly...plain in simple in my mind

Lamborghini Murciélago:

I saw one in person go against a GT2...smoked it..it becomes (#3)...slightly edged out by the F50...

Pagani Zonda S 7.3:

Never take this one...it looks too weird...not ugly...weird

Dodge Viper SRT-10:

Would be a nice daily driver out of all these...but not a exotic...but it handles just as well as most of these...or better than some... (#6)

Porsche Carrera GT:

(#1)...just remarkable...V10 and 2800 lbs...nice wheels...gorgeous lines..Porsche brakes...oh and stick...not that F1 crap.

Pagani Zonda S 7.3. The rear-end does it for me.

1. Carrera GT - so much more desirable than current competitors + V10 sound uncannily similar to an F1 car

2. McLaren F1 - in many aspects still the daddy after a decade in the game

3. Ferrari Enzo - closest thing to an F1 car on the road. But hideously ugly and lacking 'emotion'

4. F50 - good looking car, great sound, more playful than an Enzo

5. Mercedes CLK GTR - thinly disguised successful racer

6. Pagani Zonda S- despite tacky styling, tremendous effort for a company's first car

7. Koenigsegg - not keen on looks and not enough cachet. Dubious at first but getting surprisingly good reviews

8. Mercedes SLR McLaren - rendered almost pointless by the power-mad AMG CL & SL 65's

9. Lamborghini Murcielago - completely outclassed in this company

10. Bugatti EB 16.4 Veyron - misses the mark - by a mile

11. Saleen S7 - capable of mixing it with the best but not enough appeal

12. Jaguar XJ220 - promised much, delivered much less

13. Dodge Viper SRT-10 - ummm.... no


F40 and 959 should have been on the shortlist.

If the F40 and the 959 would have been on the list...I would have put them 1,2 respectively...

Since it ran a 0-60 time under 4 seconds and has 1.00G+ handling.



1. Carrera GT - 600 hp and 3000 lbs?? I love it, it's such a beatiful car to me too

2. McLaren F1 - One of the fastest, but I dont think it has much to talk about for handling.

3. Ferrari Enzo - Not ugly, but really odd looking, but I'd have to say one of the best track cars for the streets.

4. F50 - wow...although there are many cars I'd rather have, these things are sexy as hell

5. Mercedes CLK GTR - I dont really like it that much I guess, dont relaly know why

6. Pagani Zonda S- It's a different car, but it's a fast one.

7. Koenigsegg - I'm not as obsessed over it as the Carrera GT but it's also one of the fastest cars.

8. Mercedes SLR McLaren - It's an awesome car, I guess I dont have much to say on it.

9. Lamborghini Murcielago - Lamborghinis are starting to bore me.

10. Bugatti EB 16.4 Veyron - I love the car, some good engineering I think but it's only fast because of its extreme high amount of power.

11. Saleen S7 - I'm not really fond of it although it's one helluva car.

12. Jaguar XJ220 - I dont care what anyone ever says, It was my first favorite car and it's a damn good one, I'd take it over any car on this list just because...whether it's the fastest or ugliest I love it.

13. Dodge Viper SRT-10 - One of my favorite cars, It may lose against every car here in performance, but it's got a lot to offer for under 100 grand. I just wish they were lighter. If they can knock another 200 lbs off of the coupe it'll be faster than hell.

No I never had one, I just remember that's the car that got me all started on exotics and cars in general, I prefer the looks of it over most cars today, it's just terrible how the market was for it, never sold right or something, quite a rare car.

2nd- Ferrari F50- simply gorgeous- and with performance to boot!
3rd- Ferrari Enzo- Not as nice as teh F50- but faster and more sure-footed
4th- McLaren F1 LM- Nice- but too raw at the same time- I'll take its saner son any day
5th- Porsche Carrera GT- Near-perfect- but VERY cold
6th- Pagani Zonda S- AMG Powered- daily-driveable brute!
7th- Mercedes Benz CLK GTR- same downfall as the McLaren F1 LM
8th- Koenigsegg- it's a n00b and I'm skeptical
9th- Mercedes Benz SLR- where is teh point???? Auto-only as well I believe- still sexy as hell though
10th- Lamborghini Murcielago- Not in this company my friends- put it in with the 911 GT2 and 575 Maranello
11th- Saleen S7- Don't know a lot about this car- but it looks nice enough
12th- Jaguar XJ220- Love it and hate it at the same time.
13th- Bugatti Veryon- No doubting that I hate this though...........................
14th- Viper- same as the Murcielago

and of course my Numero Uno is the McLaren F1- what kind of Kiwi would I be if I didn't put it at #1????
