84 Scottsdale 2wd

i just bought a 84 scotts for 400 bucks its got 105k on it and has power windows and locks haha its auto but im thinking bout replaceing all that like the trany and the engine. Is there ne place i can get performance parts or ne thing for this truck? Thanx

what ratio is in the rear axle ? the ratio it has directly affects overall performance of the truck, most of the 70s and 80s trucks got crappy 2.73-3.08 ratios and is horrible for off the line performance, 2.73 was std equipment c-10 truck ratio starting in 81, great for highway but bad for anything else. thats where i would start, and then find a good 350 engine for it because originalyl it was a 305 if is v8 truck, couldnt get 350 untillater 80-s in the 10 series trucks
