Z-28? Ss?

Hey, Im a youngster here, not even in my 20s. I'm starting to really get into car restoration. What I want to know is what exactally sets a Z-28 apart from a stock, plain camaro. What is a Z-28?
And what sets a SS apart from a Z-28? Anyway yeah, I'll post pics of them later.

well, i ddont know specifically what individual parts set them apart, but in a nutshell, a base camaro is a v6, a z28 is a 5.7L v8 and an SS is a z28 modified by slp engineering, they modify GM products to make them SS's ws6's, lsx's, etc., there are big differences between the 3

ASC modified TA's into WS6's, just a correction. SLP modified Formulas and TA's into Firehawks...

oh my bad, i thought SLP made the ws6's, thanx 4 leettin me know. ya learn somethin new every day i guess. lol

well the camaro RS came with a 325 the Z-28 came with a 350 and the
SS had a 396 that for years 67-earl 80
