climate control no longer works

it used to work only on the hi setting but it does not even work on that any more. I am thinking that there is a problem with the fan switch itself. Is this something that can be fixed or does it have to be replaced? Any help would be appreciated. It is starting to get colder and colder, and I have no heat. 89 toyota pick up 4spd 22r

I have 1990 toyota pickup with blower fan issues. The speed selector switch operates on HI speed only. I have already replaced switch with no resulting improvment. Any Ideas? :banghead:

My 84 had the same problems. I had to take the switch apart itself and clean the contacts with sand paper. There was actually a little burnt spot on the metal and after cleaning it up it worked fine.
