I would greatly appreciate if someone is able to translate this for me. It's a Studio 27 WRX Trans Kit, but I would like to know if it's designed for a specific companies model kit or a particular year of WRX.

Thanks in advance.

That is the ZERO/SPORTS Transkit to make this car...

To complete it you'll want: TAMIYA WRX STi

Should not be hard to find...

And you'd likely want these aswell :evillol:

Hope that helps...

Cool, thanks for the responses so far. I will keep people posted on the build up, going to be working on it next week as I am working on finishing my entry (or entries, depending on how things go) for the Rally car contest on BMOM.

I was thinking this was for an older WRX because the body lines don't match up on the newer car. Plus the front end piece looks different that the Subbie in the above pics. Might have to fix that. Am curious what M01 is...either goes above the intercooler or it reshapes the hood scoop.

Oh yeah, the trans kit comes with the decals. I got it from www.scaleracecars.com and he has a bunch of diffrent Impreza trans kits on the site.

Found these two pics, and they match the parts I have...hard to tell with the front end. I am guessing this is the car the trans kit is for...I hope.

Good thing I can always turn to my friend Keiko in Japan..eh? Comes in handy when you make a fool of yourself :loser:
Anywho :naughty: I believe the problem is solved, apparently the ST27 kit is to build up this one, which leads me to the conclusion

Which draws the conclusion that you probably need this

Seeing as Fujimi is the only company to produce this model.

However, knowing Studio 27, there is a slight chance our culprit may be Tamiya's Impreza Rally '98, I can't recall any of their decal sets being for Fujimi.

Cool, thanks guys! Almost better than a translation
I will post pics of this later this week. Hopefully I will have something to show you all.

Oh, and by the way, the translation is basically the name of each piece, the text below notes reference where the car has been seen/demonstrated.

As for M01 - http://www.zerosports.co.jp/member/mshop/i-image/I-fg.jpg

Yup, it's for the GC-style Impreza as opposed to the new-age body style. Fujimi make several street versions of the coupe; Hasegawa makes street versions of the sedan and wagon; Tamiya makes only the rally spec version of the coupe.

(correct me if i'm wrong.)

Oh yeah, judging by Ray's Winfield Gr.A car in the sub-forum, Revell of Germany must have the GC8 sedan, too, at least in rally form.

S27 made a complete resin kit of the 1st gen Impreza. Now that we have Hasegawa 4dr and Fujimi 2dr plastic kits, it's pointless to spend over $100 for it, but they have Zero Sports, Cusco, Tommy Kaira, Sims, Boss aero parts as separate kits.

That probably explains the locator pins and recessed screw holes in the two resin parts.

I have these resin parts as well, very well made.
But.........Which base kit as the designed for, 'cause it does not fit Tamiya or Fujimi, but I don't have Hasegawa to try.
Any confirmation on this would be great.

OK, Found a kit that works with this trans kit...well two kits, actually.
They are the Hasegawa Impreza WRX kits. The one I got at the hobby shop is the blue plated version. The other is the regular version of this kit, same car...different wheels.

The kit is nice. It comes with a piece of black felt sticker that is pre cut to use as carpeting. A pity the mold lines weren't removed before plating (of course it wouldn't matter either way...I'm cutting it apart). Luckily I have different wheels to put on it, because for some silly reason Hasegawa "gold" plated a set of OZ rims to include with the kit....not 5 lug wheels for the Impreza...4 lug wheels from the Ford Focus Rally kit.

But anyway, I will try to get some pics up soon.
