Well I was out driving around and this guys all ridin my ass in a 99+ GTP like no tomorrow.. I get to a light he pulls up all cocky lookin over smirking.. little does he know  then my friend asks if he wants to go for it, in no time he says yeah.
so we head out to a vacant road out in cornville (damn cornfields and what not all in this area) I wasn't goin all out cause I thought it was the 3800 N/A and not the supercharged version. Well I tell him 3rd honk we'll go I honk 3 beeps.. he's still sitting there.. I move a little bit he takes off, then I ease out of first then slam it shifting out at 4500, then decided to head up to 4th gear and cut it.. hit 90-95 probably 10 cars on him. He didn't say nothing much after that. If I only knew it was a darn GTP :banghead:
Anyways few days passed and this kid who drove the GTP has a cousin who said my car sucked they can't be made fast all that good stuff, guess it gave the guy confidence. The guy in the GTP was talking to my friends mom she's a GTP owner too (guy who was riding with me) and he told her he got killed by a fiero.. his exact words "he was doing 40 and he must've tripled my speed" :lol2:
Good fun, guess people like to assume I have a 4 banger from the body style I have.. but dual exhaust tips should tell you its a 6 of some sort.

I wouldn't mind having a fiero, I love the sleeper look you got! Don't they make a V8 conversion kit for those cars too? Oh yeah, nice kill!

Oooh yeah there are V8 kits too wouldn't mind getting one when I'm more stable in the money department, but putting it in the Fastback style  only kits availble so far are LT1's for the SBC. The guy who does the LT1 kits I heard is making an LS1 kit availble some time soon. I could've gone V8, but I guess I stuck with the V6 route. I already parked my car for the winter, I'm just debating on if I should throw the money out for an intercooler. Oh yeah that site for the V8's http://www.v8archie.com
little break down of what people are running below, granted there is still a lot of tuning we all have to do (list of people who've given their times on the fiero board) http://www.fiero.nl/forum/Forum1/HTML/034445.html, Glad to see there's a board that doesn't rip on you for racing in the street, only time I think its not suitable to race is with traffic like crazy.

Actually, not hating on the LT1, but I'd go with the lighter Northstar V8 conversion: http://www.design1systems.com/northstar/index.html
While you're at it, for some more dollars, they'll add a twin-turbo system for that Northstar http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/images/smilies/naughty.gif.
They also have a turbo-kit for the stock Fiero engine, that should work with your 3800II-series: http://www.design1systems.com/turbo/index.html
If you go that route, you should be able to boost higher than recommended, since the 3800II is already set-up for boost http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/images/smilies/evil_lol.gif.

I'd rather have the reliability of the LT1 though. All of my mechanic buddies shudder when another Northstar V8 comes in the door for service. They hate that engine...
As for a Fiero on slicks, if I saw that, I know I'd think twice

Well, considering I have never owned, or worked-on any Northstar-powered cars, I'll have to take your word on the reliability issue:).
I was just thinking of the weight penalties between the two engines, and the fact the Northstar is a actually easier to install, considering that it is already set-up for transverse-mounting...plus, there's that twin-turbo...http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/images/smilies/naughty.gif
I just don't know how much space the LT-1 will leave in the engine bay for FI...

That I agree on, probably not much at all. If there was room for FI on an LT1 in a Fiero, it would have to be rigged and jimmied...
