Hey boricua...
Wanna little bit of advice?
Put a plastic bag on the exhaust section that is right under the filter to save you smelling burning oil for a week.
Theres no way I can figure out to remove the filter without slopping some oil on the exhaust.

I used a small piece of cardboard on mine to keep from getting OIL on exhaust. But then again who usually chages their oil when the car is warm. So, a plastic bag would work too I would guess. Good Job on going GM btw. We have had nothing but problems with every ford product we have ever bought!!!!
