03 Speaker #s

I have a 2003 Ram Quad Cab w/ the CD player and 4 speakers. I'm wondering what hte max # of speakers this truck holds, and where they're at. I see what looks like 3 spots for speakers in the dash...

I have a 2002 - two tweaters are up there in the dash that I know of.. There may be a third though - in the center - if that is what you are talking about.

My truck came w/ the infinity sound system.

my 03 dodge reg cab had 6x9's on the doors,and 5 1/4 behind the seats in the cab corners. i think the back doors on the quad cab uses 6 1/2" speakers and the dash uses 3 1/2" speakers. you can always go to crutchfield to figure out what size speakers you need for your truck.

my 2002 has infinity sound with 2 tweeters in dash 2 6x9 in front doors and 2 5 1/4(ithink this is the size ) in rear doors. my 2003 only has 6x9 in front and 51/4 in back doors.the back doors on both have round holes in door for 51/4 size speakers if bigger is desired interior panel must be modified.the stock speakers in all the rams should be tossed in the garbage magnet could not even hold a not on the frig.if you have the infinity system the speakers with this system have 20oz magnets .these speakers sound real nice for factory sound

crutchfield will also tell you where you can put speakers if not equipped.
