engine transfer

i have a 318 ci v8 out of an 88 dodge ram 100 that i would like to put in a 89 dodge ram 150. The previous motor in the 89 dodge was a i-6. Will my v8 fit in this truck?? the reason i am doin this is becuz i the 88 has been rolled, and the 89 body is perfect condition! In need of help, thanks
