Question about 1999-2000 Civic Si Coupe

I've been thinking about buying a Civic Si Coupe, but a friend made me paranoid after pointing out the fact that this model was only made for two years. So, I'm wondering why it had such a short run; was it poor sales, exclusivity, or most importantly, did it have any major mechanical/electrical problems? Would I be better sticking with a regular Civic?

Yep - Si is the way to go. You will pay higher retail prices & insurance just because its an Si.
