transmission change

does any one one here know which company or shop are willing to change auto to manual????
COS' my mom bought herself this 2000 G20t but she got in an auto cos' she cant drive manual......but now she bought another car and now I ended up with the auto one. I am thinking of changing it into manual. Please help..............:(

its gonna be a shitload of money dont even do it ... stick pisses me off soo much sometimes espeically when im eating or smoking!

but stick are more fun......and can go redline....

nana i can get my dads car to redline all the time and its auto its just u gotta know how to drive it ... yeayea !

Actually auto to manual swap is pretty straight forward, a lot of tranny shop would do it. For part, I think it is a good idea to find that if a manual tranny from some older SR20DE will work on your car. If it does then you can get a used one for a lot cheaper. But the 2000 G's manual has lower gear ratio in 1 st and 2 nd gears for better off line accelaration.

I was gonna change my g20 from a auto to a manual. The transmission shop said he would do it for $2700.00 but it wasnt a good idea. (Besides thats a bit to much for me) He said the best thing would be to put in a shift kit in my automatic and he said he could do that for $175.00 installed so i think im gonna go that route. And with my mods he said i should chirp second and third should snap my neck back.:D

which company makes it and how does it work...so i can ask about it over here in Canada thanx.........

Im not sure what kind of shift kit it is and im not sure how it worx im just going by what he has told me about it and how much it will cost me. I havent had it installed yet because i was saving my money for a system (which i bought and had it installed today and it sounds great) My system set me back 1,500$ so i have to start saving my money and my next upgrade will be the shift kit. I will see if i can get anymore info. on it for you.
