My heater blows cool air intermittently. Changed the t-stat. and had the dealer do a system flush. They said it was fine after the flush but it still fluctuates from warm to cool. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Wayne In your heater box there is something called a blend door. Check the linckage on it, you may find that it's not connected. It will swing openand closed causing your problem.
Good luck,

I appreciate the reply but now can you tell me where the heater box is? Do you mean the heater core?
Thanks
Thanks

Wayne,
The heater core, or coil is inside the heater box, or plenum. If you don't know where it is, I think this job is best left for the pros. But, if you want to try it. locate the box where your heater hoses connect to the coil. You can then take the box apart at the seams. Clips or screws hold it together. The blend door should be visible, along with the linkage. Adjust your heater controls , and you'll see it move, or try to move.
Let me know how you make out.
Regards,
KGBrown

Hey KGBrown, I appreciate your insight but guess what? On a whim I switched out the temperature control and everything seems to be working fine. Atleast for now. Thanks again for your information!

Wayne, You remembered something I forgot, "try the easiest things first". Glad you got it going.
