I am about to buy the black widow rear bumper for my 97 se and i have been looking for a dual exhaust system. I cant find any for my car!!! Is a custom job the only way to get one for a 97 accord? and if there is a dual exhaust system out there where can i get it???

A dual exhaust system is not available for a non-V6 Accord.
Even if you custom fabricated a dual exhaust system, you would be taking away a lot of exhaust backpressure and your Accord would be very slow on the bottem end.

I had a question about back pressure or maybe a statemenet. Please correct me if I have dropped the ball on this one....Are you saying the common, open i.e. straight through, 2.25" INLET, fart pipe that every one puts on there car has back pressure? If you are moderate in your inlet pipe size and your muffler has back presseure flowmaster or non straight through style, your car wont loose anymore power than the common fart pipe. Several place on the internet have a chart for exhaust i.d. vs c.i. and hp. I think 2.3L ~ 134ci ~150 Flowmastermufflers.com does for sure. Not that I want flows on everything, but I hate driving a resonating head ringer as my daily driver.

well if ur goin all show and bringin ur car from show 2 show on a trailer by all means do the custom exhaust job. but if ur keepin ur ride daily driver i would suggest buying a body kit that doesnt have dual openings for dual exhaust, and get a single exhaust. it will look like shit if u have a single exhaust and two rear openings.

stay away from dual exhuasts if you're running on 4 cylinders.

If you are looking for a blanced look I think duals look great. Depends all on the "look" you want. I'll put some pics up on here in about a month of mine. Too bad the car just recieved 7g's worth of hail damage, but you'll still get the idea.

there is a way, cause i have a dual exhausted 96 ex accord. i didnt lose back pressure becaus ei made mine force inducted. i have a drag t3/t4 hybird turbonetics on the stock f22 engine. i made it dual exhaust before i have it turbo charged though. the poeple who customize it have to geta certain measurements from you so you have the same amount of backpressure. one pipe is not going to put out as much exhaust flow as the other. it is sort of like a glass-pack system in one pipe.
