last time i checked it was 19 outside and a wind chill of -5 here in Appleton. roads are shitty here too. salt everywhere. at least i got to wash my civic yesterday so it is still clean for a while.

i got the hook up because my mom works at a car dealership so i just go there when they are closed and i can wash my car in a nice 70 degree heated shop. so my car can stay clean all winter!:) :D

yeah i hooked up with a friend from school and we started an import club and shit.he has an 88 accord right now but in spring he is either getting a civic or his dad's celica. the import scene is taken off right now. there is a lot of racing going on all over the place. last night a guy in a color changing eclipse wanted to race me( i think he had a turbo or N2O as well) his car was very fast. I guy that i work with also started a club he is selling his del sol to get a hatch and he is dropping in a b16 right away. do you have any pics or you car? i have some new pics of my car but i have to go to work right now. talk to you all later

here is the latest pic of my car. some things that have been done since are color matched eyelids, strut bar, painted the wiper arms white, and added neons behind the front upper grill.

Thats cool, congrats on the club and all. Car looks tight BTW. Id start something here but everyone around here seems to be "all show" oriented and theres no real performance enthuziasm floating around. I just cant deal with ricers.

No pics of my car but it looks pretty stock. Ive got clear corners, a homemade but good looking front grill (got bored), hyperwhites, and a cat back Greddy EVO right now. Just had to get a new radiator and threw that in but I still managed to blow a head gasket before I got it swapped so shes in the shop getting that done along with some other work. I might port and polish the head before it goes back on but thats all Ive got for awhile. I was hoping to get CIA, headers, high flow cat, and fuel pressure regulator soon with taxs but no more. broke :(

another mod-less year until I can save up again....

hey i am glad you like my car. do you have any pics of your car? i hate snow it make my car look shitty because it is always covered with snow and ice. i have eyelids on my car now so it looks pissed. i put in a strut bar a week ago, but that is most likely all i can do for a while because it is to cold to do anything else.

Im lazy but I should around to getting some pics up someday. Like I said, its pretty much stock and I want to keep it that way. All go=no show. Im not sure if I want to go any farther with mine or trade for a 5speed and build that up. Also just picked up a 91 Celica GTS that I might make into a project car because its much more of a challenge. (no aftermarket or bolt ons for those old celicas...it would have to be all custom : )

well my weekend was going good until last night. i hit a bunch of ice leaving a parking lot and i couldn't stop my car jumped the a curb and landed in the ditch. i ended up with a crack all the way along the front end of the car along the bottom air dam. damn was i pissed, but now i am going to get a bew front end. so my car will look pimp. good things always come out when bad things like this happen. i also got a warning for wreckless driving. :mad: :mad: :mad: :mad:

Man that sucks. Not a good time for anybody. At leaste you can take the insurance money and get an aftermarket front end. Mines still in the shop and an increasing headache (and bill!). Had so much planned for this year and its all down the drain. At leaste Ill have a rebuilt engine and wont have to worry about any maintinence for a long time. Heads cleaned, valves checked, new timing belt, water pump and various other important mechanical shit. Leaves nothing left for performance though and eventually Ill have to sell it or something to get something cheaper so I have tons of money for stuff. Life sucks when you dig something so much and have to watch it die (or fall in a ditch)

yeah i am not going to report it to the insurance company because then i would pay high rates and they are already raping me in the ass for payments. i was looking at front ends for my car and i found one for $300

but a place here in appleton sells full body kits the front,back,and skirts for $700 so i might wait until spring to get a full body kit.

I used to live by...hrm....Einstien Junior High, hopefully you know where that is, I think the largest street close by was Northland Ave. Sorry I can't really remember right. And I think I actually lived there for about 15 years and just moved around 3-4 years ago.

Instead of buying your kit from the store, you should order it, you'd be saving like maybe 100 bucks if not a little bit more, then have it shipped to whever you're gonna get it painted.

so you lived on the north side of appleton. i live on the south side. i live right by East High School and thats were i also go to school.

i haven't bought a kit for my car yet, but i was thinking if i got a full kit that i would just get it from Import Dynamics which is in Menasha. they have awesome prices and most of the stuff they sell the prices are higher then what they actually sell them for. I got my exhaust from them and they gave me 10 dollars off what the price on the shelf was. now i am out of breath.:bloated:

Hrm...I do but not very good ones, they were taken by a friend for his school project. I have better ones but I dont have em scanned. All I have is Intake, and Exhaust for now and a system. Oh yea its the red one...the only red one...

Esp: your car looks aight but you might want to get rid of those white wipers. Some would consider those pretty ricey but since we have a going dialog here I wont flame you. Otherwise looking good. What real mods do you have? Intake or anything?

Just got mine back from the shop, they had it for three weeks! Just to pull the head! Anyway, Im screwed with that bill now and have to pay that off before anything else. Car runs like new though so Im happy. Im planning on keeping it now and just paying off that work then getting all the basic bolt ons and eventually a 5speed conversion and rebuild the engine for higher compression and do some extensive head work in a year or more. Itll be awhile before I can put any loot into it at all though so Im really torqued about that....no pun intended. :smoker:

There's another PY Type-R in Green Bay I've seen it myself. Plus my friend barely got that car last winter, then crashed it the spring after with only 2000 miles on the odo :sniff:

No it didn't have stickers when i saw it. He was some asian guy. So did ur friend keep the itr engine?

No, he wasn't able to keep it. The car was pretty fucked up. The struts were all bent up, the gearbox was stuck in reverse. The car was lopsided, left side sat lower than the right side after that. The whole front was busted, and the engine, I can't really remember what happened to the engine. What happened was my friend let my other friend drive it, and I guess he didn't quite stop at a stop sign, you know those quick look and gas it and go. Well, my friend decided to do one of those and another was turning but my friend thought hey, it's a Type-R it can do anything, so he went was about to be him, put it in reverse and bam the car was gone.

i was just in green bay last monday and there were some cool cars. there is some used car place that has 2 tegs i white and the other yellow. they only want 9800 for each of the tegs.

on my car i have intake and exhaust on it. more to come in the near future. after i pay for the damage i did to somebody's car when i rear ended them in my civic. I am also getting a bodykit put on my car in spring when it gets warmer outside.

Yeh Green Bay isn't all that. As i noticed...theres alot of fools up there with cut springs. Alot of old accords i see and some old integs. I hardly see any rexes and 4th gen hatches and the new civics. Oh this is what i hate about green bay...they have a slow ass speed limit! Its boring as hell there! Oh you gotta hate there streets ...all cracked up and shit. LOL..enough dis'n on green bay. I went there alot when my ex gurl lived there and i have some boys that lives there.

I went to this new import shop and one of the people working there has a body kit and some other mods. this was a 5th gen hatch. yeah i saw a old teg that had many mods that the owner just brought back for auto cross racing.

Here in appleton we have a lot more imports. there are some slammed eclipses. also one that is painted like the one in f&f that someone said has NOS in it. there is an import shop here that the owned had a purple teg that runs 14's in the 1/4 mi on stock tires.

So there are a lot of imports here in north east wisconsin.

the teg was red with white graphics. no the eclipse was painted like the one from the fast and the furious, but yeah in appleton there is a color changing eclipse.

where are you from in wi? is doesn't say in your profile, but your birthday is a day before mine:D

there were three different car accidents as well, i ended up in the ditch on the side of the freeway.
