I'll admit it, I don't know jack about street bikes. If this question has been answered already just direct me to the appropriate thread and I'll delete this post.

What are the 0-60 and 1/4 mile times for both the latest Hayabusa and Ninja? LMK if you need more info from me.

a good rider (and after a few hundred runs) can break into the 9s with either bike, usually the zx12r is faster in the 1/4. Both 0-60 times are roughly 2.6-2.7

actually , no offense to R1, but i believe cycle world compared the two about two months ago and the busa was consistently faster but only by .2-.3 sec. Although they did have a factory suzuki rider that was somewhere in the mid 5ft range.. so being that the 12 is taller, naturally it made it more difficult to launch. Dont get me wrong though, id rather own the 12 if it came down to it...i can't imagine that kind of power as i have owned both a 929 and a 954.. the 54 put 133 hp to the wheel with a 2 bros slip on.... just my 2 cents... both are INSANELY fast

well, most magazines are not able to bring either bike into the 9s so far, the only one i can remember is motorcyclist which brought them both in at 9.96 and 9.86.

The zx-12r gearbox is defective, even if kawi won't admit it, the oil flow to the gearbox is absolutely non existent. there are a few easy modifications to be done to fix it, but untill they are done the gearbox is really weird under hard launches. It seems though consistently the zx-12r is faster, probably because of the rider, as most squid kids go right for the busa.
