Any one know if I can get any info off the web showing that a GS 300 is a dressed up Cressida. A guy I work with just bought one and will not belive me that it is the same chassie/drive trane.

You won't find any information like that. Cressida and Aristo/GS are two different models. Cressida was always a rebadged Toyota Mark II (JDM) (http://cressida.christurner.net/history/) whereas the GS series is the Toyota Aristo (JDM) (http://www.toyota.co.jp/Showroom/All_toyota_lineup/Aristo/menu/frame/exterior.html)

read in Autoweek or Motor Trend when they first brought the GS to the U.S. that it was the same platform as the Cressida. This was like 91 or 92. Thanks for the reply!
