Going to buy a Civic HX 1998 with a B18C1 swap. Wondering what sort of price to pay. The GSR engine has 42000 on it but the HX had 92000 on it before the swap ... which was about 6 months ago. The guy changed out the HX transmission and ECU as well.

I'm pretty new to Acura/Honda's, but I'd really like to get to know them. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
lars

if the car is in good condition and it just has the ehgine swap expect to pay about as much as he put in to it

his civic probobly cost him 2000
his engine plus trans and ecu cast him around 3500
if he got it installed it probobly cost him 1200

he will pobobly sell for 6500-7000

if its any cheaper something is wrong

:screwy:

The Civic with the stock Engine is worth 6,000
The GSR engine + Tranny + ECU is around 3,000
Install I would say probably around 2,000

Total would be 11,000.... Factor in that the Civic HX is worth NOTHING now. I would pay probably around 7k for the car.
