can someone please tell me what the quarter mile time for a turbo and a non turbo mr2 are stock. I don't know much about these cars so if anyone can help me that will be great. Also are there any well known problems with the mr2. If anyone knows a good website to find out .25 mile times about stock cars I would appreciate it.

well i love mr2 and i have one myself the turbo models stock run about 14.7 average driver. The mr2 N/A stock i say 16.2 average driver. the mr2 turbo has about 220 hp the 94 have about more, 245hp.

Everywhere else (i.e. Japan, Australia, etc.) Second Gen MR2

the 94+ usa turbo has 225...
the only problem i can think of with the mr2 is that it has a bad sound system...but that isnt really problem if your into speed...

Are you serious? 1991 MR2 Turbo came with 7 speakers, 3-in-1 head unit (CD, cassette and am/fm), some even had a built in equalizer ... all of this in a 91? 93+ had 8 speakers.
What more could you want in such a small space?
Granted, I am not a "stereo guy", but Iwas always impressed with the MR2s OEM set up.

i have a 94 and though it has 8 speakers they are bad quality in my opinion...who knows, it could just be mine..i plan on replacing them

My old MR2 used to have alot of aftermarket speakers. Pretty much the basic sound system. 2 10" subs. 2 speakers behind you 2 on the bottom. 1 on each door. But this is totally off subject,

uh oh mr jekle and hyde is here lol this guy knows what it takes to push an mr2 check out is 12.4 1/4 he has like 138k on his engine. Like four2se7en8 said all US spec mr2T came with 200hp over 200ftlbs.later

A 91 MR2 has 7 speakers!!and here i thought it only had two..
were are the seven speakers at? I only see the ones in the door.
