i wanted to know wat alarms ya got in your cars and also wat i really wanted to kno is wat alarm do i need to make the windows go down and the door locks open when i disarm the alarm and visa versa

basically any alarm will do all that get a DEI alarm (not the wasp its a pos) there are channels to hook up the window modules on almost every alarm, same with the powerlocks


i have a clifford alarm..not DEI owns them too

Yeah, I 2nd DEI stuff. That's what I have in all of my stuff. In-laws still have one of the first remote starters from DEI and still works like a charm. It was installed over 8 years ago.

Just about any alarm can do keyless and window automation as long as it has the outputs. You'll have to get the window automation kit in order to do the windows. They can only do 2 windows at a time so if you have a 4-door, you will need 2 kits. Then, if you have a sunroof, you might need another kit unless you get an alarm with a lot of channels then you can use it instead.

Some of the window kits will only roll windows down or up. Make sure you get one that can do both. DEI has one that you can even crack the window 1"

u already have power windows right, cuz if you dont no alarm is going to make you have power window (duh im sure you know that) but any alarm you get you can get actuators put on to make your locks automatically lock and unlock you should get the city tuff alarm my boyfriend has it and its sick if you have manual tranny it is 320 installed (here anyways) but no remote start because its a liability and if you have auto tranny and want remote start then its 500 but anyway the alarm is sick because (i think ci5ic has this one or like it too) it pages you if your alarm is going off and shows you what part of car is being messed with on a little keychain screen and it shows temperature inside car and the time and yea im definitely getting that alarm on my next car. :2cents:

I have the Alpine SEC 8028 that is $200 brand new that I'd sell you for $75, used for a couple months. It has the capabilities to control 3 different things, so it could do your windows, locks, and one more thing (trunk pop or sunroof if you wanted).

Just about any midpriced and above alarm will do this. DEI (Viper 350 on up, Rattler 210 and 310, Python 460 on up, Hornet pro series, and Sidewinder to name a few). They will all do keyless entry if you have power doorlocks. If not, you can add actuators. For the power windows, you can add either the 529t which just rolls them up or the 530t which does up down and crack. Remember that you need to already have power windows AND you'll need 2 sets of these (1 module per pair of windows).

i dunno anything about alarms and i am looking into getting one myself but that one looks like it can do everything buyt give ya a blowjob but thats my opinion i would say get it but like i said i dont know enuf about alrams to know if that is a good brand or not just my $.02

Yeah, that will work. It should last you a few years. DEI brand has 6 different ones simular to that. I sell them installed for $289.

Hey i have a problem. my buddy has a 98 civic ex and i need a schematic or some knowledge of the electrical system to locate the door relay and wires so i can hook up keyless entry. ne help would be great, thanx

My alarm is sweet just got it last week, its got a 150 decible siren and strobe that goes off if the car is touched any more that a flick, i love it. Only problem is i forgot i had it the other day and tried to get in my car and shit goes off, and belive me its LOUD :iceslolan
