please help

my brother just bought a 92 integra that came with a headman header. the problem is that it won't pass smog. the header is 50 state legal but the smog guy said that it needs to be carb approved. What should i do?

put the stock header back on if you have it. Otherwise, buy one, put it on, go do emissions and then take it off after you pass. I got a B18 header that i will sel for cheap so just let me know.

have u considered that it might not be the header since it's supposedly "50 state legal." another option can be to get incontact with the company that makes this header and get a carb sticker from them. the problem is u don't know its the header's fault for not passing, this was just an inference from the shop. trying doing a tuneup, flush antifreeze, change thermostat, gas cap and the cat. this can help out tremedously.

oh one more thing. b4 u u get it retested again, take a preinspection to make sure everthing is good to go
