what is your max speed in GT3 A-spec??(by GTRs)

Well I ran over 254 mph with SKYLINE GT-R V-Spec II

and I'll try to take a pic of it

i wouldn't trust that game on the cars max speeds. their 0-60 is almost dead on, but they're max is waay off. i mean how can a supra go 175 when a nsx can only do 170? or how come a evo or a impreza have a higher top speed then a R34 GT-R V-spec II? the game is soo in acturate you can't even shift into 6th on it~!! grrrrr. on the stock torque and horsepower you can barely red line it on 5th. and when you shift into 6th on a manuel (cauase auto won't even shift on its own) it throws it out of its torque range and the car slows down~~!! grrrr. how can a skyline gt-r has 165 max speed when a stupid evo 7 has 170 or a impreza has 167? when clearly the factory says that the stop speed has been uped to 143? WTF is that? how can the GT-R be the slowest import car in terms of top speed? tell me your opinion on this.

oh yeah i meant subaru said that they increased the top speed of the WRX impreza Sti to 143mph but in the game it does 167. hmmmmmmmm:mad:

Aerodynamics, and power to weight... The GTR is like a driving brick, as much as I love it, its got like 500 pounds atleast on a EVO. Those things plus the fact that its JUST A VIDEO GAME...

that is why i said "don't trust the games specs". i was soo furious to find out that practically every other japanese import SA class can beat teh skyline's top end~~!! grrrrrrrrrrr.

in gt2 i got the jag special edition car, full modded, to do 423 km/h round the oval track

It's a fact that even the game developers have admitted to that the top speeds have been increased in the game. They thought it would add more excitement if you could go faster.

WEll I am quite new to GT3 and do not have a Skyline, but in GT2 I got my Drag Car Skyline to 437 km/h

but i still find it unfair that lesser cars such as evo's and wrx's gets their top end kicked up when the skyline got its top speed reduced. its not fair~!!!

I agree Tat, nonetheless, in a fully modded R34 V-Spec with 1014hp I can still mash on all the other cars and out handle them through the twisties. Driving that car is like driving a rocket on wheels, I'm tellin ya. Nothin can keep up on the ovals like the test track or whatever the one race were you get 25k for 1st place on the oval is.

can't exactly get it through turns with taht much power, the car practically flies off the ground~!! and no matter how good the brake up grades are, it never seems enough, no matter how much i tried to adjust the chamber and the toe in and toe out, it still handles like a rocket goin straight~!! that is why i detuned it to a "hello back to earth here~~" 600 range. great speed and still managable handling.

Well I would be able to help ya out but it was my ex roommate's system and game. All I can remember is that I dropped it as low as I could get it, turned the stabelizers up to like 6 or 7 and played with the limited slip accell. Oh yea, and it envolved ALOT of drifting :D I think I'm gonna buy a PS2, GT3, and a driving wheel for myself for Xmas (Hey, its the holidays, what better reason to spend 400 bucks on a system and 1 game :p )

Oh yea, that brings me to another question for all you gamers out there. Can us car lovers look forward to seeing a driving wheel setup with a friggin clutch and shifter??? I think that would be hot shit and every TRUE racing fan would agree that you can't drive these cars right with no clutch.

I think I'm gonna drop Logitec and Sony a line asking about that. 'Cause GT3 would be KILLER with a clutch and gearshift!

Speakin of GT3, have you seen the GT Concept Tokyo 2001? It's got the Skyline concept in it, plus a bunch of other concepts, Fairlady Z, Primera, RX-7 and a few others I can't think of.

Man, I can get my 34 VSpec !! (1074) BHP up too 388km/h!
Although after looking at other speeds that looks really dodgy, I'll check when I get home!

Hey Gothrax, it's pretty weird dude.
I fully modded 4 R34 GTR's, 2 VSpec II's, 1 VSpec and 1 GTR non Vspec.
Out of all of them the lowest in BHP I got was 1043!!!
Do you regularly change the oil and have you altered the gear ratio's?

dont u guys think the next (GT4) should have a burnout pad and burnout comp and heads up 1/4 racing and dyno comps!!

I think the best handling car would be the fully modded Mine's R34 GTR.
That is the bomb, especially when you do a little mods here and there!
It honestly handles like it's on rails and it's not slow either...

Yea, my "lowly" 1014hp GTR is great fun to drive. You can play with people bad on the oval tracks, just let them creep up next to you, then drop down to 5th and just leave um for dead. Great on road courses too, that thing will get it out of a corner!!!

Yeah it's quite life like isn't it!
You can be going side ways and as soon as you peg it, it actually brings you out of the corner!
Don't you just love the Attessa system???
