What do all of the models mean???
WHat does S, Si, SH, Type R, GS-R, GS, RS, Cx, LS, Ex, Lx, Hf, and Dx Mean???
What do they all stand for???

type r means type 'racing' and si mean 'sport injection' ....that's all I know.

CL - Coupe Luxury
DX - Deluxe
LX- Luxury
EX- Executive
R- Racing
Si- Sport Injection

not sure on all though.

I always taught that Si meant sequantial injection,but I may be wrong.

Ooh!! I know a couple! :)

LXi and SEi are from the late 80s Accords when they were switching from carbs to EFI, so the LXi is the LX plus an "i" for fuel injection. The SEi is for Special Edition-injection.

LX-i turned into EX in the next generation, though.

I've always thought TL (as in Acura TL) stood for "Touring Luxury."

edit: and T is for Targa, a la the NSX-T.
