Wrecked Grand Prix

Yep. I wrecked my GTP last night. :crying:
Swerved to miss a dog, fishtailed all over the road, did a 180, and slid off in a ditch ass first. Thank god it was ass first and the airbags didn't deploy. Me and two friends were unhurt. My baby's got three flat tires, probably a fucked suspension and warped wheels, and she'll probably have to be put on a frame machine. I don't know what else is wrong, I couldn't tell while she was sitting in a ditch at 1:30am.
I'm all tore up about this. I puked last night, I cried, and I'm sick to my stomach now. I don't know where I'm gonna get the money to fix her. *sigh* I'll figure something out, I don't want to lose my baby.

Shouldnt your insurance cover the damage? But then again you still have to come up with the deductable though. Hopefully you have a cheap deductable. good luck.

It would if I had full coverage. Only liability, my car is paid for, and we don't have the money for full coverage right now.
This is my fourth wreck. Either I have horrible luck cause I keep wrecking, or I have extremely good luck because I keep walking away.

Wow, that sucks, i'm really sorry to hear about that. But think about other possibilities.
A: you hit the dog, and now your sad because you ended the life of a mutt and you now have to replace your front bumper.
B: You swerve out of the way and go straight into a tree, now you have severe injuries and you have to come up with the money to pay the hospital, and fix your car.
C: You swerve out of the way off the dog and hit oncoming traffic, your dead.
Considering the options, I think you are very lucky.
I'm glad to hear no one was hurt, and that you walked away from the accident. I hope from now on your luck with cars changes.

Well, this is my third car and fourth wreck. Two of my wrecks were bad enough that I was REALLY lucky to have walked away, and one of my friends that was in the car with me this time was in the car with me last time.
Oh, and word from the body shop: The right back wheel that was sitting crooked is probably the worst of the damage. That and the big caved in spot next to the left fog light. So hopefully I'll get it back in a week or two. I made pictures of the damage, I'll try to get them up as soon as I get them developed.

Okay, WalMart screwed up my photo disc, put the same picture on there 25 times instead of putting all my pictures on there, so I used my webcam and made pictures of my pictures, since my scanner has some sort of problem. (I think it needs WD-40.) So they aren't very clear, but here they are. I can't put them as images, geocities won't let me do that.

My girlfriend is an animal-dodger too. I like dogs and cats and racoons too but I'll never swerve to avoid hitting one, and the pics of your car explain why. A new front bumper and alignment adjustment are cheaper than what you're looking at.
I think this was the first thing my dad taught me about driving when I was a kid. The second thing was that you don't really have to come to a complete stop at a stop sign, which is why I had to take my drivers test twice. (sheepish grin)
Anyway, sorry about your Prix, hope it's drivable again soon. And hopefully dodging Lassie gets you good karma.

Well, I got my car back today. (Technically yesterday, seeing as how it's almost 3am.) Total damages: $2828.32. But she's pretty and shiny, and she is in my possession again.
Next time, I'm hitting the freaking dog.

Talk about luck. I got my car out of the body shop Friday. Drove it to work, and while I was at work, someone came along and stole my license plate and my license plate frame. They ditched the frame at the restaurant next door and made off with my tag.
Damnit, I'm gonna stop driving.
