I dunno if any of y'all remember me or not, but I was here a few months ago, and kinda faded out since. Well, I'm back, and with a new ride to boot!

It's a 2002 Dodge Dakota Sport. I traded in my poor old Talon as a DP on it, and now I have a truck!
I'll try not to fade out this time, and look forward to some discussin' with y'all. Laterz!

Thanks for the welcomes. I always found this board interesting, what with the thorough mix of folks from different countries. It'll be fun to get back into it all again.

Plans? Well maybe a few, eventually. I'd like to add a few little things to the interior, mainly function over form, but I have already slightly upgraded the sound system . I replaced the stock radio with a Rockford Fosgate CD/MP3 player, and eventually with replace the stock speakers as extra money (whatever that means :grinno: ) becomes available.
I might put a camper shell on it one of these days, if I can find one light enough to make removal easy, but not having a place to store said shell when not in use (I live in an apartment, so no garage yet) makes it difficult. I might just go for one of those lightweight collapsible canvas shells that I can stick behind the seat.

Might do that sometime soon, although no plans in that area yet. I hope to be using the thing for some camping and stuff soon, for there's some pretty good state parks and campgrounds up in north Alabama. Plus, my folks have a good sized piece of land back home that would be good to camp on.
