Stereo install help!

Tried to install a cd deck in my '95 civic but it won't power on (wired correctly/fuses not burnt/deck works on other car). The dash clock isn't working either after. Checked the wiring to the deck with a DMM and there's no power from the constant and ignition wires. The original Honda connectors were cut so no chance for the wiring harness. Any help appreciated!!!

this might sound weird but try the 7.5 amp fuse for the back up lights under the hood... mine blew and gave me the problem of no radio or clock not too long ago
