283 heads

I started a new thread about a simple question concerning small journal small blocks (283's) heads crossing over to different heads. I was pretty sure they'd work, but figured I'd check with some gear heads.

You white shirt bitches couldn't find a person among you to answer a simple question. I waited 'till the holiday was over and headed down to the local boat/stock car shop and spent 5 minutes confirming what I knew.

First gen. heads can be swapped for 305, 307, 327 and 350 heads, but the chambers are bigger (no kidding) and would have to be shaved (no kidding again) to cover the compression drop.

Why did I join a forum full of bone heads rather then gear heads?

I guess the right person didnt see your post, or could it have been your attitude even shown through in type ???
