Is this normal?

ok i have a 2002 z24 sedan and i was wondering is the radio supposed to stay on after you turn off the car. mine does this but the radio turns off when you open the door. is this normal for cavaliers because i have never heard of any car doing this. i am now well informed of this cause since i bought it used it didn't have a manual. any help would be greatly appriciated. oh btw if anyone knows how to program the keyless entry that would be great.

The radio is suppose to stay on after you turn off the car and untill you open the door. I know also if you shut it off and just sit their it also turns off after about 10 mins. Its just alittle extra built into the radio. As for the keyless entry i have no idea.

thanks alot for the good 411. i just wanted to know for sure since i bought it used i didn't know if they had rewired it. anyone know about the keyless??

i'm almost positive that you have to have keyless entry programmed at a chevy dealer... just go to the dealer and they'll tell you what you need to do
