'00 i30 NAV/GPS system questions

I'm about to get a 2000 i30 and, since I recently moved, I'd like to have the factory GPS/NAV system installed. I've already located a complete working system from a dismantler at a fairly reasonable price but, before I purchase it I'd like to know if the installation is a firly simple "swap out".
Was the 2000 i30 "pre-wired" for the NAV system and is it just a "plug and play" install? The dismantler doesn't have the factory antenna so would I have to order one from Infinity or will a Garmin-type GPS antenna work? Is the data CD's (Northeast) readily available?
Any information would be greatly appreciated...
