did u make sure that u put the oxygen sensor back into the intake? If your intake dosnt have a port for it, then i dont know what to tell you, because there is no way to "trick" the engine without it running bad. I suggest getting a K&N because they have the oxygen senor.

I had this same problem when i put in my k&n intake, $170 later, this is what i figured out:
my K&N uses an oil to coat the filter to help keep out dust and the such. some of that oil got in the sensor, and was causing it to act funny. all i needed to do was pull it out and very gently clean the sensor. this should help, another option is that you will have to replace it. you may have damaged it in the re-install. hope this helps

I put a cold air intake on my truck and the same thing happened....so i took it to a toyota dealer and had them to check it out and they couldnt do anything bout it to watch it and see if it goes off....so bout a week or two later it went off.

get a injen intake. They seem to work best with tacomas. My crew has supercharged tacomas and we all run injen intakes.

just screw the shitty air intakes and do a $10 deckplate mod! go to gadgetonline to see the dynos of the deckplate and the air intakes system! RED
