One off MR2 based roadster

As a welder fabricator i have built many race cars (drag) and am in the process of constructing a light weight tube chassis (approx 1300 lbs) MR2 based roadster (mid engine) and was wondering if anyone out there has experience mounting an MR2 engine in this type of chassis?
