This is another case of the wrong part crisis that I have been having. I went to the junkyard today and they pulled a gauge cluster for me but I didn't notice until I left and got halfway home that it is for an automatic. Is there anything i can do with this. Can I use it? Should I take it back? I need help quick.

you can use it, but naturally the center section that shows gear will not function.

Are the bulbs in the brown thing suppose to be blue or did someone put colored bulbs?? If so, what size are the bulbs?

alright I just put the cluster in and apparantly the car didn't have 332,000 miles on it because the cluster had been replaced and a couple of wires cut. The original cluster had 4 things that you unplug and the new one has 5. I am assuming that the 5th one is for the PRND12. but my question is this: Whoever had the car before me cut some wires. What do these wires affect. It is the smallest one (blue) and the original one has 2 wires and the new one had 4. Here's some pics below.

These are the pcs I am talking about

Help me out ppl. I fixed the wires, but I still would like to know what this piece controls. It is the one that plugs into the clear/white box.
