Whats up Im Edgar from Mexico, Im a Senior in highschool. I have a civic SiR 99 b16a2 EBP, when i bought it I had as options a golf GTI, neon R/T, Mustang GT and Audi a3 all of them (99-00) and I decided to go to the Honda, love hondas. Dont have much money for mods, done only very few, no power adders. Tinted, Gauges, Aftermarket stereo, Strobes, Debadged, purple turning lights, white bulbs, Yokohama tires.
Next year going to go abroad to stufy, either canada or the US. depends where I get accepted and the cost of it. If i go to the US, ill buy a 99 hatch and swap an H22. Tons of torque for a 2250 lbs car, hope to hit high 13s at sea level.
If I go to BC, Canada, theres no point in having a fast car. No street racing, less highways, less autox and 1/4 mile. Im going to get a passat 98 with 19 inch rims. Pimp it out and drive slow.
Dont know if your against street racing, but I street race oftenly. You get caught street racing here, and 20 dollars is enough to get away with it, you just hand a 20 dollar bill to the cop. I know its different in Canada and USA. Going to court and all that shit is scarry.

I wonder if a hatch with a 195 hp H22 can run high 13s with little bolt ons. But no air conditioning sucks, I read the swap guide and its a mess.

Nice SiR. There are a lot SiRs here; when it came out its color was passion orange. Stock B16. At that time no one can match it, until people started modifying their engines or else go all out swap. Anyway, no aircon's fine. I don't have aircon and I am doing very well, and it's even hotter here I think than it is there in Mexico (I live in the Philippines).

Yeah probably hotter there. Why dont you have air conditioning? you have a souped up hatch or why...? I bet theres a way to have airconditioning and a h22 engine on a hatch, or do cuopes like mine have bigger front end, so I can maybe transplant an h22 220 hp to mine, and sell my b16a2.

My aircon compressor blew up last February, and so rather than have something that's just taking weight on my car, I took it off, as well as the aircon fan. I'm thinking of taking the condenser off as well since it's just sitting there useless. I drive fine with the windows down. Only problem is when it rains, the windshield fogs up. I think I might have found a solution to this when I saw my friend's circuit car, in which he placed vacuum hoses tied to the aircon vents and snakes out to the window when it rains, so it acts very much like the air intake and takes in air. The hoses point to the winshield, so it prevents it fogging up. Haven't really tested it yet, but will most likely try it when it rains.
My ride is actually a 1993 Honda Civic ESi sedan, and yes I've worked up on it a bit.
