Motor Problem

I Have A 97 Cav And While Driving It Started Chugging. The Motor Is Running But Continues To Chug And Tries To Pull Forward But Moves Rather Slowly. I Am No Mechanic But Could Possibly Repair Some Things. Any Ideas?

chuck it sounds like maybe you have a clogged fuel filter.. does the car overheat while its chugging... if so then you may have a problem with the head gasket they are notorious for that...

I'd chech the fuel injectors as well... the O-rings (2 of them on each injector) might be damaged...
