B2000 fuel filter....

I don't have my Haynes manual with me right now, where the heck is the fuel filter on an '87 B2000 (long bed). Bugger loses power going up hills and hesitates like hell. I'm going to blow out the fuel lines and try swapping the fuel filter. Hope this works.

It's mounted on you're inner wheel well rite next to you're carb or intake if it's a fuelie.Peace!

Thanks, found it. Didn't have the correct replacement on hand, but a filter for a 1967 Buick inline-6 fits just fine! Gotta drain the tank now, fuel filter drained out mud when I pulled it out.

Truck runs great now, my own fault for neglecting the most reliable vehicle in my fleet.
