I have check engine light showing and the codes on the peak research tool are as follows FO, 1A 1b 17. these according to their book cylinder 1-4 and 5-8 has rich mixture and has aging oxygen sensor. also have noticed that on the highway if try to overtake and press the gas padel it does not accelerate but rather looses power and have to release padeal and then slowly press it again before it starts to accelerate.can any one help. where can i get more info or a manuel to make lot more sense without going toa dealer which is the last choice. are there any manuals available for these cars? thanks

BMW's need to have ChevRON TechRON in one tank of fuel every month.
The ChevRON TechRON is to clean the back side or tulip of the valve
and all components on the fuel path, of varnish.
You can use as often as needed.
It is a manufacture provided service procedure to flash the combustion chamber with steam to force the carbon to break free from the piston face and valve face.
With the engine at normal operating temperature and approximately 2000 RPM, allow the engine to ingest by a vacuum hose 12 oz soda can of water.
A puff of steam and the carbon is gone.
If it is still showing a check engine code then you will need to change the o2 sensor.
The internet, and forums like this, are the best sources of information available.
