i have a 99 durango. i had a viper alarm installed w/a kill start feature.
now my suv wont start. it turns over, but nothing. the security light on
the dash stays flashing. normal it turns on then off. how do i reset all of
this to get my truck started? taking the battery out didnt help. and we trie jumping it to see if that would help, nothing. what do i do?

When you say that the security light stays on you mean the blinking LED? Doesn't your remote work? If not, you can use the valet switch under the dash or where ever they told you it is.

It really should start though. Those alarms are to be set up as starter kill and not fuel kill or anything else. So, if it cranks, it should start. :eek:
