A 2g eclipse's bov will leak at over 12 lbs. U need to keep in mind though that the boost gauge on the eclipse is pretty much worthless. Most of the time it doenst even measure actual boost levels, but an estimated boost determined by the engine. so dont overboost. A 1g bov will allow u to turn up the boost to about 15, but to do this u need an aftermarket boost controller.

Stock BOV will leak at low boost, but that doesnt stop you from running high boost. I got high teens with the stock 2g BOV. But of course a lot of that boost is just being recirculated, so its still bad.

To answer the original question, 1g boost stock should be 11 psi, 2g should be 14 psi. Thats what they shoot for, but every car is different. ;)

2G = 12psi unless you removed the BCS, then it should be 14-15 psi, depending on boost leaks (if any) and/or condition of turbo/wg.

Did you read the post above yours? I guess not, he said 14, not 12 :icon16:

He's not the first person to not listen to me :grinno: And at the risk of having everyone here learn something, I ran my fastest T25 time at 22 psi (dropping to 15 at redline naturally). ;) On race gas.

How many passes did you put on it at 22? was it really worth it cranking it up that much? I know shit all about that turbo.

I am running 16 psi with a greddy profec b spec 2 BC and type-s bov. i can maintain 18 psi no problem. when i had my boost guage installed, before the aftermarket stuff was put on, the stock bcs (restrictor removed) and stock bov maintained 14 psi. manual BC's are good enough, but just that. if you are planning on doing any more tuning get the one i have...

I ran for several months at 20 plus psi, twice a week, maybe 6 passes per night. But dont get me wrong, small turbos spin VERY fast (t25 gets to ~150000 rpm, vs my current large turbo which will hardly hit 6 figures) and they will fail if you run them maxed out. People that run over 16 psi on the street on a t25 usually dont get much more than 6 months out of it. Less if the car has miles.

On pump gas however, I found that it made the most power at 16 psi. No more, no less. I ran this way for a long time, datalogging the whole way. If I could cut the short times then that i get now (1.5s-1.6s), or even just 1.7s, I could have hit 13s on pump at that 16 psi. 14.2 was my best.

click the link to see how to remove your bcs restrictor. bcs restrictor removal (http://www.jumptronix.com/2g_go_faster/Faqs/WasteGateSolenoidRestrictionFAQ.htm)
personaly, i think that a wooden toothpick was the cleanest way to get it out. just push it in firmly, then when you wedge it in enough, twist and pull. DON'T BREAK IT!!

A guy out here ran a 13.411 @ 99.20 on his T25, it was the world record until another guy ran a 13.404. He didnt have much money, so he just tuned the hell out of the car.
