Shifting problems?

Anybody else have a weird shifting problem? It feels like the transmission is about 2 seconds behind what I'm trying to do. Is there any fix for this? I've had the PCM reflashed twice. Is there some magic firmware revision that turns retarded mode off?

Thanks

Ron

Is it just reverse/drive engagements that are slow? If so, you'll just have to deal with it. Other than the reflash, check your fluid level (make absolutely sure the tranny is at running temp and level before checking the fluid. It should ~just barely~ drip out of the stand pipe. I strongly suggest having a competent dealer do this.) If both of those (PCM revision and fluid level) are good, either you have a faulty tranny (about $2600 to replace), valve body, (a couple hundred), or you have a normal situation and need to get used to it...

The LS's automatic IS a little slower than most of the other autos out there.

Hey bro I have had the same problem 4 times! I am sick with these poeple at this point. The 4th one to be installed, by a different shop, aslo advised me to install a new valve body along with the solenoid pack.

So far so good. I hate to tell you this but you reall might want to consider having them replace the valve body before you ruin another solenoid pack.
