OK i have a 1992 Honda accord 4dr SE. So i want to know is it possible to drop in a b18c5 which is the type r motor into my accord. If so what do i need to do to the car to make the motor fit and work properly or if i shouldnt even both with this idea. Now i bet everyone is wondering why i am asking this, well ... its because i can get this motor clean and with legit papers for dirt cheap off a good friend of mine that will sell it to me cheap. So i am asking one is it possible and two what will i need to drop it in and also if anyone has seen it done and have pics can u please post it or email it to me at [email protected] Well thats it

i guess its possible depending on how much money you wanted to spend... you could always have someone custom fabricate engine mounts for it, but thatd be stupid. if you can really get a good deal on it, buy it and sell it for more. then you should easily have the money for a h22, which has the torque you need.

Yeah, if you can get it for dirt cheap, but it. Those motors aren't easily boughten, so if you can get one, get it. I don't know if they make mounts for that swap, but you can always have them made. Or if that doesn't work for you, buy a stripped down civic with no motor for $800 and drop it into that and build that sucker to run 13s.

H22 cost $2300, 200hp & 156lbs/ft
direct swap, requires only custom wiring for non-VTEC engines.

B18C5 cost $4500, 195hp & 130lbs/ft
its not direct swap, a lot of custom work.

make your choice.
