a quick question

hey all. i am new here to Porsches specificly but i have always loved them (maybe cause my dad has had a couple of them hehe :naughty: ) anyway, my father has a 1989 911 Turbo look, and he is thinking of either turboing it or selling it, starting a business and then buying a turbo model. now if he sells it i think i am gunna take out a loan and buy it, but either way, could anyone tell me if the turbo and naturaly asperated versions use the same motor or not?? cause if they use the same motor then i could jsut find a wreaked 911 and use the parts off of that instead of having to go through and making all the piping and all.

also, if they are the same motor how long did they use the motor so i no what years to search for in the junkyards
