Thought I would share my mock up of the SAS Skyline Nizmo kit (R33) based on the Tamyia kit.

Impressions so far...
THe wheel arches fit like a dream, no gaps, molded perfectly as long as you figure out which ones are the front and whi are the back.
The front clip fits PERFECT!
The rear clip firs like a dream, with minimum gaps (I made a mistake cutting, but if you don't it should fit just great)
The side skirts are still giving me some fitment problems, but I am sure its my fault for not doing enough prep work and cuting the right amount off...
The hood is slightly smaller that the stock opening... There are also a couple of mold marks and bubles in the casting (that why I didn't spray primer on it) I am in the processes of fixing it and filing the bubbles.
I still have to fix the sideskirts gaps and the hood fitment, but overall very very good experience and great engeneering behind the kit... HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!
Thanks Chris!

Sweet!
What's your issue with the sides? Could be that u may need to add thin sheet of plastic at each end to meet up with the line of the wheelarch. Common problem with all my kits this, due to shrinkage in the resin.
Superglue is a great way to fil tiny bubbles etc. Of course u will notice you will need to construct your own attachment points for the hood. These were left off purposely in anticipation of planned RB26!!!

No ETA on it yet. Plan is for complete engine and ancillary components.

The Skyline looks great. I think the Lime Green would be just awesome, but do what you want.
A complete engine and ancilary components? Dang, thats going to be sweet. Keep us posted.

Looks great!!!
I'm planning to build the same car also. Giving it an Italian red color with white HKS Decals. I've one question: What Tamiya kit did you use and how how complete is the engine of this kit???

I've just used Tamiya Lime Green on an S13. On a car like the Nismo Skyline, with so many flares, vents and curves, it will look utterly bonkers! :D
