Here is some pics of the modified GT3 that I am doing.. I got the body mods done and wanted to start shraing the project.

I got an "ok" shine on it.. far from P-mans or Kunta or Hiroboy, but I this is the best I have done so far...

I enlarged the duct openings and removed the horizontal bars in the grille to make it look like Turbo openings:

I am also using regular rear difuser, intead of the GT3 spoiler... I think it looks cleaner that way. I never liked the GT3 spoiler :disappoin

More body pics:

More pics of the interior and chasis to come... I am also puting on a set of the GT3 wheels but I painted it black for the race look...

Some feedback please!

This must be one of the most impressive and I admire your sense of taste, improving a porsche model snt easy, you showed it is possible.

Oliver,

I am still waiting for your updated cabrio pics... You got me to start on this model, because of that whole discussion of what wheels to use for a correct replica.

Thanks for the compliment!

Looking good! Altho IMO chrome/silver rims may have suited the body colour better...just my 2c!

I think I would have to agree with chaos, a terrific job on the whole and especially the little carbon accents, and the nice detailed discbrakes, but with some rims that valorise the brakes and the whole porsche shape better, it would improve a whole lot IMHO.

:) But then as my friend said so eloquently, if we all had the same tastes.. why have different kinds of beer ?

Very nice. The dark colour of the body and rims makes it more agressive IMHO.

But, you are from Cali and you did a car from the Netherlands. Is it a hash-dealer car ??? j/k :evillol: :smokin:

What can I say, I love Amsterdam :iceslolan

Thanks for replies.. I like black/colored rims.. I never really liked silver/chrome on a sports car... all about a DTM look! :)
