There was a list of cars in the US, but what about cars in the UK. How many cars are in the UK (not including the ones at the factory)? Are all of the UK F1s in England? Are there any in Scotland, Wales or northern ireland? I heard a guy from Aberdeen, Scotland had one. He made all his money from the north sea oil reserves.

Since no one knows much about the cars in the UK, what about Ralf Schumacher. Anybody found any evidence that he does indeed own one and sometimes races it against Michael in his Enzo?
BTW,although i don't like him that much i have to congratulate Michael Schumacher on becoming a 6 times world champion. The guy is a genius.

007 used to be kept in Scotland. I don't know where it went after it was sold by Oakfields.
Don't know of any others in the UK that are outside of England.

As far as i am aware 007 was sold by Brooks in Paris in '98 for £380k. Isn't 007 a Turner Motorsport car? Perhaps drewwtms can tell us more about the history of this car and tell us if this car really was in scotland at one point.
BTW, £380k? What a bargain!

that would make sense since the 2 F1's in Monaco had the plates M66 MCL (Michael) and R66 MCL (Ralph). Anyone else have any info. i'll start to compile a list later

Mini magic,
I did not know the Schumacher brothers had Mc F1s.
Last thing I remember, Ralf was saying that his Racing F1 GTR(Lark) was too expensive for him.

I can't ask the owner because he is traveling for two weeks. But here is what I think. It was in England for its first two owners. I think the first owner kept it at the McLaren factory and hardly drove it. I have heard of other F1s being kept there for storage. Then it was sold to someone else in the UK (name escapes me at the moment) for that bargain price. Then it was purchased by the present owner in 2001(?) and brought to the States.
I've never really done a whole history on the car. Perhaps I should for posterity sake. But I believe the factory keeps detailed records anyway so why should I?

as far as michael schumacher owning an f1 is, i know he used to have a bugatti eb110 ss, which i know he recently tried to sell (don't know the outcome), but since those cars are very much different, i presume he doesn't have a mclaren, not to mention the fact that he drives with ferrari who are still struggling to build anything that can match the legendary status the f1 has, so you can probably rule out michael schumacher owning n f1, and for sure driving that on the streets in a monaco gp weekend....
