Yeah I figured I should get one while they are still in stock. Don't know when I will start putting it together though. I have about 7 to do before that one.

I want the Ferrari to be red. Which Tamiya paint do you recommend?
I want the Skyline to be blue. Which Tamiya paint do you recommend? (Does everybody use Mica Blue?)

Thanks in advance. I think I have already asked this a long time ago but I cannot find the thread.

My advice?

Don't use Tamiya paints!

If you want a deeper, richer colour, you can't beat automotive paint!
If you are interested, I'll help you out in colour choices!

Just my 2 cents!

I could try to use Automotive Paint. Is it more expensive? I will go look at the selection the automotive stores around my house have. Does that kind of spray paint go on easier.

Yes it's more expensive, no it doesn't go on any easier!:D

Well, come one! If you wanted an easy hobby you'd have taken up Stamp Collecting!:p

Cancelled the muffler. Now it says that the Skyline is on LOW.

You mean this one? Is it already out yet? If it is already out I will look to see if they have it in my town. But there aren't many good hobby shops around here. I will look at Wal-Mart over the weekend.

I'll just tag this onto the back of this thread.

Just got back from the hobby store, needed some flat red and brown for the S2000. BTW why don't stores stock those nice big bottles of tamiya paint anymore?

Anyhow I picked up my classic Mustang that I wanted. It's not the 71-73 style that I really wanted but it'll do. I think Pman made this one already. It's the 70 429 Mustang 2 in 1. I'll be building the stock model.

Pman, you used tamiya spray orange on your charger didn't ya?

I looked at Wal-Mart today and guess what, they don't have shit. They have a bunch of prepainted metal kits and some old Revells. You can't find a decent kit anywhere in my town. Sorry I couldn't find it though. I might check back in a few weeks and they might have it.
