Does anyone know where i can find a nice, new set of headers besides PFYC, and 3800 Performance? I'm only finding ones that are $729 and more. anyone know where i can get them cheaper?
i have a 98 Grand Prix GT!
And also what else could i do to get my GT faster?
Im gonna finish out my exhaust with 3'' piping and my Dynomax Super Turbo Mufflers, and I want to put a Cold Air Intake.
But what else can i do for more horsepower or trk???

Look at http://www.intense-racing.com/ they sell the SLP headers. Also do a search for S&S headers.
Also look at http://www.zzperformance.com/ for all the good GT mods.
Also, I wouldnt waste your money on that electric turbo.
Also the 3" piping for your exhuast might be too much for a N/A engine.
Here's the link for S&S headers http://www.ssheaders.com/

do you think headers are a good thing? cause my friend has them and says they are a pain in the ass?
is there some other things i could do instead of that for horsepower??
and for my exhaust should i just put 2.5 on there? or what??
im not gonna get that turbo i just need some ideas that arent gonna kill me in prices for some horsepower.
thanks

I run the times in my sig without headers, but I would love to have a set of TOG's. I dont know to much about the non supercharged engines, so you might want to check out clubgp and look in the L36 section.
I think the 2.5 would be just fine/perfect. Did u get rid of the ubend??
It seems like the Rockers are one of the best mods for the GT's.

No im getting the ubend replaced when i got to do the rest of the exhaust
i have the mufflers put on already, and when i go get the rest done im doing the ubend and the high flow cat and new piping.
oh about the ubend
do i need to get that one like off of PFYC or can i just get the exhaust place to make me the same thing and it still serve the purpose? cause isnt it just a straight piece?

ya, you could have a shop just put in a straight pipe there, just make sure that they drill a hole and weld in nut for the o2 sensor to screw into.
If you want the car loud, just put in a cutout. I drove around a while with an open cutout and it's pretty damn loud. At the track it would rattle the whole back interior of the car.

Also might want to look into this:
L36 HV Intake Insert
L36 HV Intake Insert ($199)
ZZPerformance is proud to bring you the latest in L36 performance. The High Velocity Upper Intake Manifold Insert replaces the factory plastic runners in the upper intake manifold found in FWD Series II 3800's.
By changing the intake tuning we are able to achieve performance numbers previously unheard of in the L36. In short we gained 9 peak WHP and 30 WHP at 5800rpm.
When coupled with ER rockers and our HV TB the performance surpasses dyno #'s of cam'd L36's not using our insert.
A full break down of performance, including supporting mods and dyno charts can be found here:
http://easyperformance.com/Tech_Info/HV_Insert_Test_Content.htm
Each ZZP L36 High Velocity Intake Manifold Insert includes a tube assembly adhesive and detailed installation instructions.

Hey i saw your site about the intake,
which would you recommend for my gt?
the fenderwell one thats like 179.00, or the cold air intake?
i saw you were talking about just getting the piping and clamps and air filter. would that be cheaper?
i looked on that site but i couldnt find any of it!
thanks

Depends on your weather I guess. I dont know if the guys using Fenderwell intake remove them in winter(snow/slush) or not.
I'm in Texas so if I didnt already have a CAI I would probably buy the tubing from Intense http://www.intense-racing.com/
Some people also make their own using PVC tubing. If you go to www.clubgp.com and do a search for FWI I'm sure you can find all the intructions and materials needed.
