About 6 months ago my 99 Civic Si was totaled (by my mom, not me). Ive been slow to getting around to buying a new car, but Im finally getting going at it now. I have about 10k (well actually, thats how much my parents are willing) to spend on a car, and am having a hard time deciding which would be the best.
The ones Im looking at right now are as follows (in no particular order):
96+ Audi A4
99-00 Honda Civic Ex or Si
94-01 Acura Integra Ls or GSR
92+ Honda Prelude
97-98 Nissan 240sx
Consider looks, perfomance, reliability, tunability, and overall niceness all as factors. I am only 16, so keep in mind, I will be paying for gas, and insurance, so consider these factors as well. I would like to get something with under or around 60k miles, so consider that as well. Although I said consider performance as a factor, I will not be racing, so this is a small priority.
Out of those 5 listed, which would you guys recommend?

Either the Integra(only if GSR) or the prelude(only if vtec)
Other then that, the audi maybe..

I'd go for the newer car if it has to last you a long time with minor maintenence.

gsr is deffinitly faster, better looking and will last the longest!
but personaly if i had 10,000 i would by a 92-95civic hb w/ alot of miles($3000) and get a b18c1($3500w/installation. and pistons&rods,P&P and camshaft set($2500) with $1000 left over. even if you just got a b16 swwap you'll beet gsr's all day long promise!

The A4 is a pretty damned nice car. However I personally like the Prelude.. I think its more of a matter of my own distorted opinion. I like the 2 seats, because 3 is a crowd when driving to me. I prefer myself, the road, and my girl, anyone else can drive themselves. Ive also driven newer model Preludes, and I like the way they drive. They CAN be easily upgraded if you know the right people you can cut ALOT of cost. Thats just me though.
