Decals on clear plastic.

Just wondering if decals, namely the SAS CF decal would stick to non-painted plastic. Like clear parts and plastic parts that hasn't been painted, or primed.
I have heard that they stick better on surfaces with glossy paint. However if I am going to cover it up with a decal anyways, I would rather skip the painting, so I would have less chance of screwing it up.

The reason why it sticks well to the glossy surface is because it's smoother, compared to a coarse surface like flat color or primer. It's not a matter of painted or not painted, so it should stick to bare plastic well. I recommend polishing the surface for even better result, and don't forget to trim the clear film of the decal.

Alright, thanks a lot.
