Front Assist Handle Question

Has anyone ever replaced the springs in the front passenger assist handle. Mine broke and now it just hangs down limp (the car, the car!). It looks easy to fix but where can you get the springs?

I found a replacement handle for $17.00 online at www.gm-parts-dealer.com. Don't know anything about them but got quick service. The part appears to be used and was the wrong color (took a chance)so I pulled the springs and installed in my original part. Works great now. Pretty pricy for a couple of little springs.
