Hi,
I have a steering knuckle with a bad lower balljoint and a knuckle with a good one.
How do I take the spindle and hub off of the steering knuckle so I can put it on another one?
Any special tools?
I think I have to press the bearing out?
Will I need a hydraulic press or just a bearing puller?
Thanks
Owen

Shop manual shows what appears to be a vise... and a couple of special tools to press the old one out, and press new one in.
I haven't done one of these, put I think "IF" you have some large enough sockets, you could do this without the special tools.
So far as re-using a "used" balljoint..... I'd put a new one in unless I knew the one going in had LOW miles on it.
I'll try to e-mail you a picture /info about it.
