Clock light for I30?

A friend of mine picked up a 2000 I30 for me at an auction. I drove it at night for the first time this evening and noticed that the analog clock did not light up. Does anyone know if this is normal. If it is supposed to light up is there a fuse or other thing to look for to fix it?

yea, there should be a slight light in there. .. i would check the bulb, and all of your inside fuses under the steering wheel ... to get to the clock you will have to rip out the middle air vents, and unscrew the top portion of the center dash ... after that it should be easy
